CMBA is seeking an Interior Designer looking to join our team who is passionate about those they design for, the design process and the execution of its details. Education/Experience:
• Bachelor in Interior Design – Required to be a CIDA / FIDER Accredited 4 year Program
• Minimum 3 years commercial work experience beyond graduation required
• Healthcare/education market experience preferred
• Experience with Commercial Codes, Specifications, Construction Documents and Administration
• Experience in selecting and specifying Construction Materials, Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment
• Experience in project leadership and Client interaction
• Understanding of design principals and theory
• NCIDQ certificate holder or working on within three years of hire
• LEED AP or working on within three years of hire
• Skills in Graphic Design and Marketing a plus
• Construction or Design Build experience a plus
Skills:
• Strong Communication Skills through Verbal, Written and Illustrative abilities.
• Strong Skills in Space Planning, Space Development, Casework Design and Construction Detailing.
• Proactive and Effective Communication with Team Members, Clients, Consultants and Industry Reps.

• AutoCAD familiarity, Photoshop knowledge
• Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Skills
• Hand Rendering skills a plus
• 3D modeling skills a plus
• Revit Experience a plus
• Illustrator Skills a plus
